The Cabernet 1 is a beautiful rollerball pen featuring a full body in Mokume Gane, titanium and ebonite. Mokume Gane (literally ‘wood grain metal’) is the ancient forging technique once used to decorate the hilts of Samurai swords. The cap is finished with a rose gold medallion, and the pocket clip is set with diamond. This beautiful writing instrument also features William Henry’s patent-pending Wavelock cap closure system – a ring of chromium steel balls embedded in a titanium ring which are captured in wave-shaped grooves in titanium collars for closed and post positions. The Cabernet 1 is a limited worldwide edition of 100 pieces only.
