Mega Mackerel Minnow Lure Sculpture

Handmade saltwater Mag. Mackerel Minnow Lure sculpture by Ken Picou. The largest of all the lures we have. The artist first became aware of this lure on a trip to Florida. Every bait shop he walked into had shelves devoted to this lure and the actual lures were huge. Some must have been at least 15″ long. Upon his return, he decided to make this lure and make it big. The lure features electric blue body with black markings and pearl colored belly. Large painted eyes.

This eye catching sculpture is hand crafted out of Louisiana cypress. Each sculpture has as many as 15 coats of paint. The solid steel hooks are actual fishing hooks used in the Norwegian fishing industry. These pieces always bring an instant smile to all who see them. Perfect for the home, office, camp or restaurant. Fishermen love them as they invariably bring back fond memories of fishing with their fathers and grandfathers.
