Surface Splasher II Lure Sculpture

Handmade Surface Splasher II Lure sculpture by Ken Picou. The modern version of the well known old lure that is used mainly for bass. It features aluminum propellers front and back and large black and yellow eyes below. The artist built the first version of this lure as a companion piece to an oil painting featuring this lure. Features florescent green body with black markings on top and florescent orange belly. Large black and yellow eyes underneath.

This eye catching sculpture is hand crafted out of Louisiana cypress. Each sculpture has as many as 15 coats of paint. The solid steel hooks are actual fishing hooks used in the Norwegian fishing industry. These pieces always bring an instant smile to all who see them. Perfect for the home, office, camp or restaurant. Fishermen love them as they invariably bring back fond memories of fishing with their fathers and grandfathers.
