Original oil painting on canvas by New Zealand artist Paul Deacon portraying the Spanish cartel ship, St. Philip leaving Dartmouth, England port in 1814. The St. Philip is shown carrying released American POWs back to the United States, including the crew of U.S. Brig Argus on November 8, 1814. In the background is the well known Dartmouth castle.
